In contrast, power and kingship cannot tolerate even two individuals in a single domain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Meaning and Interpretation of Saadi\u2019s Verse:<\/strong><br>Here, Saadi illuminates a delicate yet profound reality about social and political life:<br>\u201cTen dervishes can sleep beneath one blanket\u201d \u2013 that is, ten humble, unassuming souls can share a single, old village blanket and still find comfort and peace in each other\u2019s company.<br>Yet, \u201ctwo kings cannot share a single kingdom\u201d \u2013 for even in the broadest land, two powerful rulers will inevitably clash, driven by jealousy, rivalry, and the ceaseless struggle for dominion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Moral and Social Lesson:<\/strong><br>This line reveals the stark contrast between the humility and simplicity of dervishes and the ambition and pride of kings.
